What would be the best hotel near Soldier’s Field and sites to see for me and my brother in Chicago?
jordanscustom.com asked:
Me and my brother are traveling from Anchorage, AK to Chicago in October to play for Vikings / by the bears, there are probably 3 days before the game. We 'with reference to 26 and 22 years. We want to go to a hotel with a nice fourth of the fitness / weight, and we want to go to someone? No good men 's clothing stores that can only get in Chicago. Love billiards / foosball, that kind of thing too, so any idea that would be great. We prefer to stay near the Soldier 's piece in the area of the city. Thank you.

The Hilton and the Essex Inn, both on South Michigan Avenue. And both have fitness centers.
And if you stay at the Hilton or Essex, you can go north to North Michigan ave for clothing stores.. a short cab ride.
Go to and search for the dates you are looking for (Oct 14th is the game so around that weekend). Once you get to the next screen, towards the top, there is an option for Landmarks. Click that option and another window opens asking for which landmark. Click Soldier Field and it will come up with a list of hotels near Soldier Field, all ranging over $100 per night. They will also list the amenities each hotel has so if you’re looking for something specific check that out as well.
As far as men’s clothing stores go, you didn’t specify what kind of clothes you’re looking for (i.e. casual, dress, etc). Men’s Warehouse might be a good choice as some of the other bigger chain stores (i.e. Macy’s. Nordstrom’s, etc) are not based out of the Midwest.
Have fun when you get to Chicago!
I’d recommend the Chicago Hilton, the Essex Inn, or the Best Western Grant Park – all of them are nice hotels right off Michigan Avenue, so you can use the buses to get to the shopping areas, and all are within walking distance to Soldier Field. Lots of good bars and pubs around too.
