How to keep yourself fit?
Everyone of us wants to remain fit physically and it is a desire in each of us that we should remain fit till our death and at no stage we should be compelled to lie on bed and become dependant upon others. We know that none of our family wants to serve upon us. they will serve on us for some days, but later on they too shall be praying before God that either we should be cured or we should be written off from this world. Therefore, each one of us wants to be a fit person and we all try to adopt the methods which can keep us fit for the whole of our life.
Our forefathers had been facing such difficulties and at the same time they had been collecting all information following which we could keep ourselves healthy and fit persons. Their experience shows that they had been following the below noted points in their life and they had been advising to the coming generations to follow these lines. Let us sum up their advices as follows:-
1. Examine your body daily and this work should be done by yourself. Our bath room is the most appropriate place where we can have a look on our body and we must ensure that every part of our body is functioning well.
2. We should take exercise daily and when we are taking exercise, we must see that no part of our body is paining and if there are such indications, we must try to see that the paid is over and if need be, we can take help of a doctor.
3. We should keep ourselves clean and for that purpose daily bath is the first condition and we should not miss daily bath and we must see that each part of our body is cleaned properly and therefore, we should take bath in a closed bath room out of sight of others. Bath room privacy must be maintained.
4. We should fix time for our breakfast, for our lunch and for our dinner and for taking tea or coffee. We should give space of about three hours to each such exercise because all things we eat want sufficient time for digestion.
5. We should try to ensure that we take our food at our own home and we avoid taking food from outside.
6. We should see that we take fresh meals and hot meals.
7. We should know what quantity of water our body needs and that quantity should be completed on each day.
8. We should fix time for going to bed and for our getting up in the morning and this time schedule must be maintained. If you can avail, have a small rest after taking your lunch.
9. Your should develop habit of sitting and walking in a right manner so that your back remains straight.
10. You should have periodical check ups from a qualified doctor and act upon his advice.
11. You should not keep work pending because this pending work creates burden on the mind and we do not have proper sleep and rest.
12. We should bear and face all the difficulties of life with courage and if we fail, we should have faith that God himself shall ease our situation and position .
13. We should conduct prayer daily because prayer gives us encouragements and we come near to God who is a power in himself.
14. We must keep friendship with all who are close to us and we should avoid creating enmity with others because enmity always creates burden on our mind and heart.
15. We should earn money and must save something for the rainy days because when there is money at our house, we feel that we are poor and poverty is a curse which would not allow us to live a normal life.
16. We should help others so that their help could be available to us when we are in trouble.
17. We should keep good relations with all in our family and especially with our life partner.
18. We should avoid all such situations where we are condemned to inferiority complex.
19. We should know what are crimes, what are sins and what are misconducts and we should avoid committing crimes, sins and misconducts because once we are caught, we shall be facing so many difficulties in clearing ourselves.
20. We should not take loan because it becomes difficult to repay the loan amounts.
21. We should try to remain in open air so that sufficient amount of fresh air goes in us and polluted air is pumped out from our body.
22. We should avoid remaining outside the home without any reasonable purpose.
23. We should not fight with others physically because such fights could lead to physical injuries which shall take sufficient time to heal.
These are some minimum points which we should keep in our mind and must try to follow the same and it is hoped that you would remain fit till you are alive in this world and you would enjoy your life. All these points are very easy to adopt and then follow and it is for us to adopt these points in our life. We should not wait when others shall guide us. We must be doctor for ourselves and only we know where the shoe pinches.
