Excalibur Vegas resort fee – does it include use of gym equipment?

According to the hotel’s Web site, access to the fitness area is included in the Daily Resort Fee. What does “access” mean? Does the Daily Resort Fee include use of the fitness equipment? I ask because, the Web site also states that for an additional daily fee, registered hotel guests can access spa facilities that include the “Exercise Room.” Basically, what I’m trying to figure out is, when I stay there, will I have to shell out additional money on top of the Daily Resort Fee to use the gym equipment?
